The CatFlag flies at half mast today

So in case you hasn’t heard, our beloved Grandma Cat, Mouse, crossed over the Rainbow Bridge last night.  All of us are very sad about dis, but I thinks we all knew dis was coming.  Grandma had told me weeks ago dat she no feel good and dat I would have to take over for her as Queen of da house.  She said dat she had taught sis and I everything she could and it was time for her to move on.  She wanted us to start acting like head cats and as if she wasn’t here…so we respected her wishes.  She was such a good friend to us and she taught us so much dat I wanted to honor her today wif a little memorial.

I will also never forgets the time she made a special cameo in the movie sis and I made a while back: Monkey & Mystic do the Zen Dance of 1,000 Mouses At least we has these memories captured so we will always be able to remember her.

Rest in Peace sweet Grandma Cat we wills miss you lots.  *nosetaps*

She will be sorely missed, but I wants to let you all know dat my contest will still be moving forward.  Mouse would wants it dat way and I wants to dedicate it in her name. Plus, I thinks it will help the humans and I take our minds off of things to see you guys being silly.

**I has more Bad news to update!  It appears everyones favorite Tripod cat on twitter, @OscartheCat, has also crossed the rainbow bridge, just hours after grandma cat.  Dis is very sad day indeed.  He was a good friend and very sweet kitty.  If you knew him, Plz go pay your respects here at Cats who Twitter: A Sad Caturday
